The Band
Vocals: Tania Clarke performed with the all-female vocal trio, the Sweet Sirens, for 7 years. Siren highlights include a 2-month residency in New Delhi performing at the 5-star Grand Intercontinental Hotel; support act for Boney-M at Burswood Theatre; entertaining VIP's at the Rugby World Cup; writing a Chicago-style floorshow, Sirens On The Rocks, and performing it at His Majesty's; and a New Year's Eve performance for 24,000 revelers at Gloucester Park. The Sweet Sirens entertained at countless corporate and private functions, and festivals.
Piano: Ben Clarke has worked with Australian jazz notables such as Julian Lee, Graeme Lyall and Ray Walker, plus many local jazz acts such as the Cornerhouse Jazz Band and Ali Bodycoat. He recently played at the Miss World Australia ball at Sydney's Star Casino, and has performed in and compared Variety Club functions alongside Julie Anthony, Kamahl and The Seekers. Ben has worked as an arranger, accompanist, band leader and musical director for corporate and stage shows, and conducted the WA Children's Choir. He has broadcast on ABC Radio, and hosts classical and jazz programs for Highland FM radio in NSW.
Bongos & Percussion: Mason Clarke has been drumming for 18 years and has been a long-term player in the Perth covers scene. He has played gigs in countless metropolitan and country WA pubs, in bands such as Footloose, Damn White Honkies, Reckless, and Bram Stoker. Mason has played many corporate, private and New Year's Eve functions, as well as charity gigs including Appealathon. He has branched out into the blues and roots scene, currently drumming for blues band Dr Charlie, which played at the 2006 Bridgetown Blues Festival.
