Description
A Bio-Poem is a succinct
summary/description of a person, their ideas and beliefs, their actions and
quotes. It is a template that can be used to quickly to build up a clear
picture of a student’s knowledge of a famous person.
Procedure
Fill out the worksheet after choosing and researching a person of
interest.
Line 1 First Name
Line 2 Title or occupation of

Line 3 Four words that describe the person
Line 4 Lover of (3 things
or ideas)
Line 5 Who believed (1 or more things)
Line 6 Who wanted (3 things)
Line 7 Who used (3 methods or things)
Line 8 Who gave (3 things)
Line 9 Who said (a quote)
Line 10 Last Name
The details may be one word or they may be phrases. Try to be as
accurate and complete in your description as possible. Try several words and
phrases before you decide what to use.
