information is provided in both hard copy and on CD. Both versions are subj=
ect
to copyright.
Whe=
n the
school obtains a Site Licence for the Curriculum Organiser, it is
provided for the use of each teacher at that school. Individual teachers may
then save the CD to their personal computers and may make modifications for
personalised planning.
Lea=
rning
programs generated using the Curriculum Organiser can be shared betw=
een
teachers within the school.
=

Prohibited
copying
How=
ever,
under the copyright agreement with the school, teachers are not permitted to
provide copies of Curriculum Organiser materials or the formats to
teachers from other schools that have not obtained a Site Licence.
The=
Site
License is issued to the school and its current and future teachers. Teache=
rs
who transfer to another school are not permitted to use the materials in
another school, with the following exceptions:

The
new school has also purchased a site licence.
·
The
teacher independently purchases individual teacher's licence.

Illegal
copies
Mak=
ing
additional copies of the Curriculum Organiser CD is not permitted. If a tea=
cher
loses or damages a CD, contact the school principal or Education Research
Solutions and it will be replaced free-of-charge.
The=
intellectual
property rights related to the Curriculum Organiser documents are protected=
in
three ways:
1. =
School site licence number.
2. =
Copyright © - an
internationally recognised symbol that prevents copying in any form without
permission from the publisher.
3. =
The Curriculum Organiser logo
should appear on key documents.
Bre=
aches of
copyright are subject to Western Australian law which includes legal sancti=
ons.
A
school’s licence to use the Curriculum Organiser materials wil=
l be
terminated if that school deliberately provides copies of Curriculum
Organiser materials to another school.
COPYRIGHT
PERMISSION GRANTED
The
Curriculum Council has granted permission for Education Research Solutions =
to
use the Curriculum Framework information. This permission does not represent
endorsement of the Curriculum Organiser by the Curriculum Council.
The
Education Department of Western Australia has also granted permission for
Education Research Solutions to replicate the Student Outcome Statements in=
the
Outcomes and Standards Framework.
